System Overview

Color Low-Light Navigation NV System

What It Is

The XHS7-C11 is a fully integrated color tactical night vision system combining a full-color CMOS sensor at 1108 × 832 resolution, embedded ISP processing, a 0.39-inch OLED display, onboard recording, and WiFi streaming into a compact helmet-mountable housing designed to deliver natural-color low-light imagery for mobile navigation and tactical situational awareness.

Performance

The XHS7-C11 achieves a minimum illumination of 0.001 lux with a dynamic range exceeding 89 dB, producing full-color 1108 × 832 resolution imagery at 50 or 25 fps. Unlike the monochrome B-series, the C11 renders natural-color images that eliminate operator perceptual adaptation, supporting faster decision-making during navigation in low-light environments. Battery runtime reaches a minimum of 6 hours from a single 18650 Li-ion cell, and boot time is under 3 seconds.

Key Technical Features

  • Full-color CMOS imaging core with unity 1× magnification for natural visual alignment and reduced operator fatigue during extended wear.
  • RTSP live streaming over WiFi at rtsp://192.168.0.1:554/livestream/12, enabling color situational imagery at command level without a physical video link.
  • Onboard MP4 (H.264) recording with 32 GB internal storage expandable to 128 GB for continuous color mission documentation.
  • Defog / dehaze and brightness-contrast-sharpness ISP pipeline enhancing scene clarity in haze or low-contrast lighting conditions.

Platform Compatibility

The XHS7-C11 is compatible with standard helmet-mount interfaces and supports handheld operation for individual deployment in navigation and command roles. The WiFi streaming interface allows integration into mobile command networks, and the system operates standalone or as a forward color-sensor node providing natural-color imagery to a command post or vehicle-based C2 system.

Natural-Color Low-Light Imaging

The XHS7-C11 uses a full-color CMOS sensor that renders natural-color imagery at 0.001 lux — within the typical low-ambient-light environment of a moonlit or partially lit nighttime scene. This natural-color output eliminates the perceptual adjustment required by monochrome night vision, reducing operator decision-making latency.

Integrated OLED Display and ISP

A 0.39-inch OLED panel at 1024 × 768 resolution displays color imagery directly to the operator with no external hardware, while the embedded ISP applies real-time defog, brightness, contrast, and sharpness corrections to maintain image clarity in haze and low-contrast scenes.

WiFi Color Live Streaming

The system streams full-color live video over 802.11 WiFi using the RTSP protocol to any compatible client — mobile APP, VLC, or PC browser — providing command-level personnel with natural-color situational imagery from forward operators. The fixed stream URL ensures deterministic integration into command infrastructure.

Battery-Primary Compact Deployment

The XHS7-C11 operates from a single 18650 Li-ion cell across a 2.7 V to 4.2 V range, providing at least 6 hours of runtime in a compact ≤ 282 g housing. Sub-3-second boot time and the helmet-mount / handheld form factor support rapid individual-soldier deployment without preparation delay.

Designed for the Field

Night Navigation and Movement

The XHS7-C11 provides natural-color low-light imagery for route navigation and mobile command in low-ambient-light environments where color rendering improves terrain orientation.

Search and Rescue with Color Identification

Color imaging enables faster visual identification of personnel and equipment markings during nighttime search and rescue operations where monochrome imagery may obscure color-coded indicators.

Color Situational Awareness Networking

WiFi RTSP streaming delivers live color imagery to command networks, supporting natural-color situational awareness at command level without perceptual adjustment to monochrome output.

Night Navigation and Route Movement

Mobile forces operating in low-ambient-light environments benefit from natural-color imagery for terrain navigation, route assessment, and orientation. The XHS7-C11 renders color imagery at 0.001 lux, allowing color-differentiated terrain features to remain visible where monochrome NV provides only grayscale contrast. Unity 1× magnification preserves natural field-of-view scale, reducing perceptual adaptation overhead during extended movement operations.

  • Min. Illumination: 0.001 lux
  • Field of View: 42.5°
  • Digital Zoom: 1× – 8×
  • Frame Rate: 50 / 25 fps

Search and Rescue with Color Identification

Search and rescue personnel rely on color-coded markings, clothing, and environmental cues to locate and identify targets in darkness. The XHS7-C11 color sensor preserves these visual markers at 0.001 lux, reducing identification errors caused by monochrome desaturation. The ≥ 6-hour battery runtime and ≤ 282 g form factor support sustained handheld or helmet-mounted operation across extended rescue operations.

  • Color Mode: Full Color
  • Battery Life: ≥ 6 hours
  • Weight: ≤ 282 g
  • Ingress Protection: IP66

Color Remote Situational Awareness

Command posts receiving video from forward operators benefit from natural-color imagery that retains terrain and target color cues without requiring perceptual calibration. The XHS7-C11 streams full-color live video over WiFi RTSP to any standard client, providing command-level personnel with the same natural-color view as the forward operator. Onboard MP4 H.264 recording preserves color mission footage to 32 GB internal storage independent of network availability.

  • Streaming Protocol: RTSP
  • Interface: WiFi
  • Storage: 32 GB (up to 128 GB)
  • Video Format: MP4 (H.264)
