What It Is

The XHZ4-1550C-EN is a hybrid zoom, ultra-low-light electro-optical camera that combines a continuous optical and digital zoom lens with a high-sensitivity BSI CMOS imaging sensor in a single compact payload. It is engineered for UAV platforms, mobile observation systems, and embedded electro-optical integration where long-range, full-colour night imaging is required without active illumination.

Performance

The camera achieves minimum illumination of 0.001 lux at 25 fps, extending to 0.0001 lux at 5 fps, with a detection range of 1650–5500 m, recognition range of 410–1380 m, and identification range of 250–860 m against a 1.7 × 0.5 m target under standard visible-light observation conditions. The hybrid zoom system spans a 15–50 mm optical range combined with 8× digital zoom, and dynamic range reaches 100 dB with WDR enabled.

Hybrid Optical-Digital Zoom

Combines a 15–50 mm continuous optical zoom lens with 8× digital zoom in a single hybrid system. This gives operators both wide-area situational coverage and long-range target detail from one airframe or mount.

4th-Generation Low-Light Imaging

A high-sensitivity BSI CMOS sensor delivers full-colour night imaging down to 0.0001 lux without active illumination. Operators retain usable colour video from daylight through to starlight conditions.

Onboard AI Recognition

Built-in AI classifies body, facial, vehicle, and animal targets directly on the camera. This offloads target identification from the host platform and speeds up operator response.

Networked Compact Payload

Ethernet connectivity with RTSP/ONVIF streaming and 32 GB of onboard eMMC storage let the camera drop into existing VMS infrastructure or record standalone. Its ≤405 g housing keeps integration simple across UAV and mobile platforms.

System Integration

Interface Architecture

The camera exposes a primary Ethernet interface for power, network video, and RTSP/ONVIF streaming, alongside a dedicated expansion connector for USB, RS-485, and UART secondary development.
