System Overview

XHM3012C Technical Overview

Bare Imaging Core, Compact Optics

The module pairs a wide-angle 12 mm lens with a housing-free design, giving integrators the widest field of view in the range plus full control over the surrounding enclosure. No mounting bracket or environmental sealing is included, so mechanical integration is entirely the OEM's responsibility.

Camera-Equivalent Optical Performance

Optical, imaging, and electronic performance carry over unchanged from the XHC3012C camera this module is derived from. Integrators inherit the same close-range, low-light colour capability without the cost or bulk of a housing they'll replace anyway.

Simplified Fixed-Focus Design

With no auto-focus motor or back-focus adjustment to integrate, the module's control requirements are the simplest in the range. That makes it a natural core for space- or budget-constrained OEM designs.

Zone-Based AI Detection

AI body detection can be split into global, cross-border, and regional zones and passed through to the integrator's own alerting logic. Manual zoom extends how far the AI trigger itself reaches, independent of what a human operator can see on the feed.

Operational Scenarios

Designed for the Field

Custom Payload Integration

System builders developing their own branded surveillance products need a proven close-range, wide-field imaging core rather than a full finished camera. The XHM3012C delivers the same optical and low-light performance as its housed counterpart in the lightest, most compact form in the range. 1,260 m detection and 0.0008 lux colour sensitivity give integrators a compact core to build around without developing sensor and lens technology from scratch. ONVIF/RTSP/PELCO output keeps the finished product compatible with standard VMS platforms.

  • Detection Range 1,260 m
  • Min Illumination 0.0008 lux
  • Output Protocol ONVIF, RTSP, PELCO
  • FOV Horizontal ≈52°

Branded Perimeter & Gate Products

Distributors and manufacturers serving perimeter-security and access-control markets often need a compact, differentiated product built on proven imaging hardware. The module's wide-field, colour-in-the-dark performance is designed to sit inside a customer's own housing and branding. A native 72 dB dynamic range, extending to 100 dB with WDR, keeps the image usable through dusk, dawn, and mixed lighting at a gate or fence line. AI body detection with cross-border and regional alert zones can be built into the finished product's alerting logic.

  • Dynamic Range 72 dB, 100 dB with WDR
  • Recognition Range 310 m
  • Identification Range 200 m
  • Connectivity RJ45, WiFi, optional 4G

OEM Mechanical Design Freedom

Because the module ships without housing, mounting bracket, or environmental sealing, integrators retain full control of industrial design, thermal management, and ingress protection for their finished product. The fixed-focus design also removes any auto-focus mechanism from the mechanical integration effort. Imaging performance and firmware behaviour remain consistent with the equivalent XHC camera model, so integration effort focuses on mechanical and environmental design rather than re-validating imaging performance. Star-Navi requests direct contact for module dimensions, weight, and power specifications to support enclosure and power-supply design.

  • Housing Not supplied, OEM-designed
  • Focus Fixed, no auto-focus mechanism
  • Storage 32 GB default, up to 128 GB
  • SDK Available on request
