Field Applications Along Extended Perimeters

Border corridors, coastal approach lanes, and critical infrastructure perimeters share a common operational problem, which is that early warning has to cover the distance between a fixed sensor and a manned response team. At 7,600 meters detection and AI body detection confirmed beyond 370 meters, the XHC3240C-ABF gives a single fixed position enough standoff to trigger a response well before a contact reaches sensitive terrain. Rated from minus 40 to plus 70 degrees Celsius and running on 12V or optional PoE, the XHC3240C-ABF is built for unattended operation at remote sites where a service call is expensive and infrequent. As tenders continue moving color-capable long-range detection from optional to mandatory, cameras that hold that performance without an infrared illuminator are likely to become the default choice for outer-layer perimeter positions rather than a premium alternative to monochrome or thermal systems.
